After installing it, I loaded my custom content back in and whaddaya know? Most of it still works, despite having only had Nightlife and University installed beforehand! I only lost the use of a couple of game mods I can easily live without - all of my favorite mods and custom objects still work fine. I was still a little nervous about losing my custom content but the propspect of real thunderstorms and snow flurries was worth the gamble. However, I've wanted a weather system in my game even as far back as when I was playing the original Sims 1 so this EP excited me from the start.
I use a lot of custom content downloaded from the web and each new pack always risks breaking said content.
I skipped the Stuff packs and the last two EPs after careful consideration.
